Exaile 0.3

Lately it has come to my attention that because there hasn’t been a release in a few months and that there is little activity in the 0.2 branch, people think that Exaile is dying. I just want to clear this up :)

Exaile 0.3 is under very active development. This is a complete (almost) rewrite of the entire Exaile codebase. The reason that you’re not seeing any activity in the 0.2 branch is because we’ve moved all of our effort to bringing a quick beta release to 0.3. There is still a LOT to do, so it might be a while. Currently there is a GUI and a backend that work, and Aren and I both use it as our main music player. Things like preferences and etc are still all done manually from the command line.

This rewrite will most likely speed things up usability wise, but to you it will mean better and faster releases.
